Chaotic time-delay signature suppression using quantum noise

چکیده

The time-delay signature (TDS) suppression of semiconductor lasers with external optical feedback is necessary to ensure the security chaos-based secure communications. Here we numerically and experimentally demonstrate a technique effectively suppress TDS chaotic using quantum noise. dynamical complexity are quantified autocorrelation function normalized permutation entropy at delay time, respectively. Quantum noise from quadrature fluctuations vacuum state prepared through balanced homodyne measurement. effects strength bandwidth on enhancement investigated experimentally. Compared original dynamics, this improved chaos suppressed up 94%, ratio laser 1:25. experiment agrees well theory. potentially beneficial random number generation communication.
